| MY DRUMING BIOGRAPHY: I am working on this part,will be up in due time and on the other side I plan on placing in name of hometown band and song list with practice clips of old songs.I started drumming after the sec time the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sulven show. My first drum was a snare drum ,a slingerlend snare ,dark blue with a type of a strip going threw meddle ,straight rims not curve.Came in a alligator case with red velvet.I think my dad payed area of 50.00 from Victor music shop in down town Toledo Ohio.Which I had to work to pay him back in time. From there I pick up a crack 12" cymbal.I never took a lessen I just played by ear,and watch a few drummers older than me,when they had band practice,got few pointers,and sat in few songs for the fun of it, when they took a break. I play along with records alot,I was luck we had a player piano at home that was past down from my grandparents ,so I use to put on a roll and drum along with piano tunes.As time went on I went back to music shop and I traded in my snare drum and got my first drum set.A well known co. In todays world,but back than it was not.My first set was a white pearl set made by Pearl,4 drums,snare hi-hat 22"cymbal from japan,also drum wear made in japan,Yes I took the cuts and jokes about japan set,But I was happy with them as time went on I add a Ludwig 14" hi-hat cymbal which I used as a left side crash,work out find. My neighbors pick up a guitar soon as you know we wear having band practice just like they wear doing in England neighborhood's.This was area of time in my life 12 years old to 16 area.We played few places, High School sock hops and country club gigs.After that I went away from drumming for awhile doing other things in my life.Later I pick up another set, played for while and sold them also during this lay off we can say ,I sat in for another drummer at dance party for the first set of songs.I was a nervous wreak ,just walking in with out rehearsal or not noing what songs we wear going to play ,but it all work out o.k. some of the songs wear the same as my old band played.After that as I got older I went in army and next time I practice was in a sound rooms on base in Germany, where I practice few times aweek after hours,free time. Few years went by after getting out of service,At that time I pick up a Yammha little practice drum pad, 4 drums on top of a electric brain.Hock it,At a pundshop up in Reno NV shorty after.Time went on , was not jamming any more or practicing except with drum sticks off and on. Which brings me up to my third set of drums ,a set of ION electric drum pads. My first electric set which I am still building and customizing two sets to gather,so for very happy with them, I have more drums and crash cymbals also rides, than I have ever had before to work with and practice with.So that brings me up to current time.My drumming status at the time is just a hobby practicing to regain my skills and timing.Close estimate of time of starting with Ion drum set 4/01/2008 estimated time of practice up to additional upgrade kit 2.Calculated by movie clips 3 mins long ={area 256mins = 5hours + erase takes run threws unknown+just all out practice unknown = still under 40 hours of drum play } at the time.Going to stop hear.[time data 10/05/2008] New update 12/01/2008 of drumpractice clips with new added on [set-2-kit]fullset=videoclips 114mins=2hr.area+practice arace takes say 4hr.total=6hr.Total drum time from set one up to date,area of[20HR.New up date[2/23/2009] on total hrs.75mins more cliptime plus retake and warm up practice 2hr. new total=23hrs 15mins.New up grade ,added on a drum mini mixer 2/18/2009./cymbal up grade,rides 3 pizos 2 on crash during month of late Jan and early Feb./[2/23/09] 3 new sets of sticks 7A Nylontips 3sets 6.99 +shipping total 10.00. NEW update 3/27/2008 Added new links to Drumpractice session page.Branching off to My Yahoo Video`s bring back my old and adding new clips that have been taken down from this page.Next update 4/19/2009 11:31pm New Total= 24hrs.3 mins cliptime practicesession.Still not useing new mixer yet.Need to make a computer usb plug and cord to 1/4 jack into mixer.Cymbals have been up grade and finishlook. Next update:5/30/2009 I had a computer breakdown these last 2 weeks and some other tec problems,good news I am back up running after taking computer back to restoring to day 1 and got all vierses out and melware .New drum clips coming soon.Next update:7/19/2009 Due to video cam drivers and my new restored computer these last 4 weeks I have not made any practice videos,I am still working on cam to get it back up running.I been still practicing off and on doing song sets ,of 6 to 8 songs at one time.I am saving to buy some new software for video recording also.So for me, at the time ,summer is a slow time of year and layed back time,and still upgrading drum kit,little by little this summer.New update:11/5/09/10:00pm between time 8/30/09 start Drum practice session with windows movie maker to make clips.Added on 43 new clips ,total 129 mins practice time.Made some new kit upgrades also,to top rack bar,closer cymbals,added pizos to bellpad.Working on my transfer of website to my new address[markys-dps-internetproductivity.com ]due to the closing of geocities.com websites no longer.Update between 11/01/2009 to 12/14/2009. Upgrade footpedals,and floor mounts to stableize all pedals.Add right side optional hi-hat drum pad with add 2 more piezos.Add 2 more piezos to snaredrum. Total clips (285)at the time.Update:12/14/2009 started to practice with karaoke cuts.Total clips now 285/&/855.00mins plus unknown time.New update 1/24/2010/11:27am.Taged all cords and drumpads, to brainhead inputs, 1 and 2,Pick up on a 20watt p.a. amp for future speaker drive.Clips total(319)Start dueing small minnyconcert session of song groups.Data up date:4/10/2009 Replace 10 new across T`s on rack,placing home made T`s as storage back up parts.Replace few tubing across members to stander pipe size,trash 1/2"plastic tubing that I was useing for top part of rack.DPS Videos 360=1,080 mins.+ some longer clips being 6 to 8 mins long,total estment time 20 hours or more clip time.Added one new set of sticks (5A)and another (SET)jazzsticks on the way for next up date report. New update:(12/13/2010/ after year ending soon,I have over 500 video drum practice clips going into new year 2011.Way over 40 hours of clip time at this point in time.Next up date:12/28/2010.Notice from, "Yahoo Video" closing down March 14/2011.I am figuring out where to move all my video clips....................................................
